Pastor Rahiam A. Bango
Founder/ Senior Pastor
Pastor Bango is the founder and Senior Pastor of Abounding Faith Christian Fellowship which was founded in 2013. He grew up in Southwest Philadelphia and graduated from West Philadelphia High School. Rahiam joined International City Community Church in 2001. Since the age of seventeen, Rahiam has been mentored and trained under the leadership of his father in the ministry Bishop Gary O’ Grier Sr. founder and senior pastor of Embracing Truth Ministries of Philadelphia, PA. Rahiam was also licensed and ordained under Bishop Grier.
Rahiam accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and personal Savior at a young age. In 2010, Rahiam preached the gospel of Jesus Christ in his family’s native country, Trinidad and Tobago.
Rahiam has an Associates Degree in Biblical Studies from Lancaster Bible College| Capital Seminary & Graduate School in Philadelphia, PA. He received his diploma in Biblical Studies from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Rahiam received his certificate in Pastoral Leadership from Philadelphia Biblical University Higher Education (now Cairn University) in Langhorne, PA.
Rahiam has been employed at the University Of Pennsylvania Health System for over 15 years. He is married to Danielle Bango and together they have three children.
Rahiam is a member of North American Baptist Atlantic Association and Embracing Truth Ministries Network of churches.
First Lady/ Church Administrator
First Lady Danielle is married to Rahiam Bango. They have three handsome and very active sons, Rahiam Jr., Dennis, and Desmond. They are expecting a daughter in June 2020. The Bangos have been married for over 8 years. Danielle was saved at an early age. She was a former member of St. Matthews Baptist Church in Williamstown, NJ for over 5 years and served in many ministries. She is also a founder of Abounding Faith Christian Fellowship and had served as the leader of the Missions Department at ETM while merged with their ministry. Under her leadership, the Missions department has reorganized to be able to contact members and inform them about church business and followed up with visitors. They have also had a successful school supply giveaway and Fall celebration for the children, Let Jesus Light Your Way. They also partnered to provide Thanksgiving dinners, winter coats and apparel giveaways, and school supplies to the community.
She has taught women's session several times and looks forward to continuing to serve God. Danielle received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, BSN, degree from The College of New Jersey, TCNJ. She received a post-baccalaureate certificate from Drexel University. Danielle has a diploma in Apologetics from Cairn University, formerly known as Philadelphia Biblical University, PBU. Danielle also received her Master's degree in Nursing Education from Walden University.
Danielle has been a nurse for over 13 years. She was a nurse manager for over 7 years. She has recently returned back to the bedside as a postpartum nurse for a better work/life balance and to serve more in ministry.
